Current maglev systems
Current maglev systems require entirely new, dedicated infrastructure. They depend on complex and costly electromagnetic components in both the track and the vehicle, which has made large-scale commercial deployment difficult and expensive.
Haku’s approach
Haku Maglev takes a different path. Its patented technology uses a fully passive steel track add-on that can be integrated with existing rail infrastructure and safety systems.
This allows conventional rail corridors to be upgraded for magnetic levitation, creating a simpler and more cost-effective route to scalable high-speed transport.
